Eligibility: The applicant should be a graduate from a recognized university or an equivalent and should be minimum 20 years of age and maximum 30.
Syllabus: for the preliminary exams the syllabus comprises of general studies which include current events of national and international importance, history of India, polity economy and general mental ability.
For the mains, students are required to appear for papers on an Indian language, English, General Studies and 2 optional subjects.
Format: The preliminaries have objective questions while the mains are non-objective. Test is conducted by UPSC.
